Mahattat Atifiah Fi Rihlat Aloumr

Wa

Angham Min Wahi Al ahibbah

This book includes two poetry collections. The first collection is a selection of poems written by the poet for over forty years. It begins with educative poems concerning Arabic language, mother and friend. The reader finds, next, social poems that criminalize terrorism and calls for confronting social deviations. The third category of poems contains national and Arabian themes as the Algerian revolution, Palestine, the invasion of Iraq and the cult of personality. The love poems have also an important part of the collection.

The author has combined poetry who wrote in Damascus in his youth and one who wrote in Algeria from 1967 until today.

The second collection contains seven sentimental songs written and composed by the author. He dedicated the second song called "sprinkle the path ways" to his sister Aicha on the occasion of her birthday. While the last song called "love song to Damascus" is dedicated to Mr. Marwan Hosri his close friend and other childhood friends in Damascus with whom he spent the happiest days of his life.

The remaining five are love songs. Their titles are respectively: "our beloved," "the district visitor ", "Princess of Dreams", "the most beautiful tulip", and "do not go away."

This collection is written and composed in the late eighties. The author would like to emphasize that he is far from being a professional composer. Music composition for his songs was in that time just a hobby which he would like to share with dear readers.
